Welcome to an amazing double climb of Africa’s 5th highest and Africa’s highest mountain, respectively. Here you will not only get two big goals, but also the best acclimatisation for Kilimanjaro.

Start with the fantastic trek to Mount Meru, 4,566 meters, located in the beautiful Arusha National Park. The hike is classic volcano trekking, where we walk over the highland heathland, ridges and of course the summit crater. From the top of the western part of the caldera, there is a view of the entire safari country, to the crater floor itself with the ash column and to the east, Kilimanjaro.

With the strong acclimatisation on Meru, the preparation for Kilimanjaro’s somewhat higher altitude is optimal and gives the best chance of summiting. On Kilimanjaro, we take the classic Machame route, also known as the Whiskey Route. The trek/climb is set up with a few days before, in between and after to relax and with possible other activities.

The trip can be tailored to your wishes, for example, extra days after the climb at the beach. There are fixed departure days where there will be a minimum of 5 participants, but you can also choose your own departure date.
